Most sprayer problems don't show up until you're already mid-job. The HD4000 4 gallon sprayer solves the biggest frustrations with smart design features that keep you working without interruption. The digital battery meter and translucent tank let you see exactly where you stand before you head out, so you're never caught off guard. When it's time to refill, the wide-mouth lid makes it quick and clean every single time. Whether you're controlling weeds, feeding your lawn, or doing spot treatments, the PetraTool’s electric backpack sprayer keeps up with the work without slowing you down. After spraying, rinse the tank, hose, and wand with warm soapy water, then run clean water through the sprayer for a few minutes to flush the pump and nozzles. A quick rinse of the filter screen keeps the flow strong and your spray pattern consistent next session.
Product Care
Fully empty and clean the tank before storing, then keep the sprayer in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. For extended storage periods, remove the battery to preserve its lifespan and prevent gradual drainage.

Our Customer Videos
How long does the battery last on one charge, and about how many gallons can I spray per charge?
On a full charge, you can expect about 6-8 hours of runtime. In real-world use, that translates to 200+ gallons per charge, depending on your nozzle choice and pressure setting.
Yes, it includes the battery and the charger. A full recharge is typically around 8 hours, so just plug it in overnight, and it’s ready the next day.
Most weak flow issues are simple fixes. First, rinse the nozzle tip, then check the filter screen (it’s designed to catch debris before it reaches the nozzle). After that, make sure the hose connection is snug and the tank is clean.
PetraFlow Nozzle choice absolutely affects spray distance and pattern, and using the recommended nozzles is the easiest way to keep performance consistent over time.
You control output in two ways: (1) adjust the pressure (40-90 PSI) and (2) swap nozzles for different patterns. The nozzle can be twisted from fine mist to a more concentrated stream, so you can fine-tune quickly while you work.
It’s built for common lawn and garden applications like fertilizers, weed killers, herbicides, pesticides, and foliar feeds, and it’s described as chemical-resistant for that type of use. If you’re spraying a stronger/caustic solution, using the recommended nozzle for that purpose helps keep things running smoothly.
A quick rinse routine keeps it performing like new: empty the tank, then run warm soapy water through the system (tank → hose → wand → nozzle). Finish with a clean-water flush, and let components air-dry before storage. This prevents residue buildup and future clogs.
Is it comfortable for longer jobs (weight, padded straps/harness), and is it designed to reduce fatigue?
Yes, it’s made for longer sessions with double-padded shoulder straps and a cushioned back pad. It also includes a locking trigger, which gives your hand a break during extended spraying.
